Pastor Bob (a.k.a "PB") received a Bachelors degree from the University of San Diego in 1991, a Masters degree in Chrisitan Studies from Crown College in 2010, and is currently pursuing candidacy for a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. He was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps and got out as a Captain in 1995. He was a Youth Pastor in San Diego for seven years and then started Experience Church in August 2002. He was licensed with The Christian and Missionary Alliance in 2004, graduated from the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program in 2006, and was later ordained in 2007. He has been married to his wife Tina for over 19 years and has a 17 year old daughter named Paige. Pastor Bob enjoys cuddling with his wife, eating out, reading, golfing, snowboarding, and watching "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS.

Jerry is a full-time scientist for a biomedical research institute in La Jolla. He did his postgraduate studies in India and received his Doctorate degree in Biochemistry in Singapore in 2001. He is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and is pursuing licensing and ordination with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. He enjoys playing the bass guitar and piano, hanging out with people, reading, and occassionally challenging himself physically - but not too far.
Rafael Perez
Rafael is a volunteer at a local community development center in San Diego "City Heights" area tutoring elementary and high school students in math and computers. He is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and plans to pursue licensing and ordination with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. He has been married to his wife Margie for 3 years. He enjoys listening to music and watching comedy movies and sports (baseball and football) with his friends. He really enjoys walks with his wife through Balboa Park and Torrey Pines Beach.

Tina is a full time Senior Regulatory Operations Associate for a local pharmaceutical company in San Diego. She served on the Worship Team for 7 years at a local community church in San Diego where she also assisted in youth and children's ministries until she helped to start Experience Church in August 2002. She has taken courses at San Diego State University, Hawaii Pacific University, and through the UCSD Extention Course Program, is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and plans to pursue licensing and consecration with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. She has been married to Pastor Bob for over 19 years and has a 17 year old daughter named Paige. She enjoys a good laugh, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, and has just recently discovered the joy of recreational reading.

He joined Experience Church as a freshman while attending the University of California San Diego where he graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science. He enjoys computer games, reading, and surfing the web.

Sylvia is currently a full-time college student at the University of California San Diego majoring in Chemistry and planning to graduate in 2011. She's bilingual (English and Korean) and enjoys a good meal or a cup of coffee with both old and new friends. She de-stresses by either cleaning or listening to music while taking walks on campus. She enjoys cooking, reading, laughing, and trying new things. One day she plans to bunjee jump.

Brooke works full-time at the Community Development Corporation in City Heights serving the needs of over 100 low-income families. She also runs her own after-school program with the children of the families. She graduated from UCSD in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies: Political Science. She spent half of her childhood overseas in the Philippines and Bangladesh and loves to travel and absorb different cultures. She speaks Spanish as a result of her study abroad in Costa Rica for a semester. She enjoys creative activities like making her own jewelry and tooling leather as well as the creative planning involved in Sunday School and the after school program. She lives an active and healthy lifestyle which she sucks her family, boyfriend and friends into it with her!
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS OUR GUEST
After a brief welcome, we begin service with a time of praise and worship as we stand (or you may remain seated if you wish) and sing songs of worship. (20 minutes)
Following worship, teachers and assistants will accompany the children to their classes for a short lesson with games, arts, and crafts. (2 minutes)
The pastor will then share an encouraging life relevant message. (30 minutes)
A church leader will instruct people through our time of offering. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to give, but you can drop your information card (which will be provided to you) in the offering bucket so that we can send you a "Thank You" gift in the mail for being our guest. (2 minutes)
Announcements will be given to inform you of some upcoming events. (5 minutes)
Finally we will end service with a prayer. (1 minute)
Doughnuts and refreshments (coffee, tea, etc) are provided. Stick around and get to know us.
If you come with a "heavy heart" and would like for our pastor to pray for you, please feel free to let him know.
Concerning dress code - we ask that you simply come dressed (comfortably).
