Pastor Bob (a.k.a "PB") received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego in May 1991. He was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps and got out as a Captain in May 1995. He was a Youth Pastor at a local community church in San Diego for 7 years and then started Experience Church in August 2002. He was licensed with The Christian and Missionary Alliance in July 2004, graduated from the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program in December 2006, and was later ordained in June 2007. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree in Christian Studies at Crown College. He has been married to his wife Tina for over 19 years and has a 17 year old daughter named Paige. Pastor Bob enjoys cuddling with his wife, eating out, reading, snowboarding, and watching "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS.

Grace works as a full time specialist in postmarketing drug safety at a local pharmaceutical company in San Diego. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in 2003, her Masters degree in Clinical Research at UCSD in 2007, and is currently a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at Creighton University. She has served in the church as a teacher and mentor for students K-12th grade and college students as well as in leading worship. She enjoys cycling, indoor rock climbing, massages, Chic-fil-A, spending time with family and friends over meals, and singing shamelessly at the top of her lungs in the car at stop lights.

Tina is a full time Senior Regulatory Operations Associate for a local pharmaceutical company in San Diego. She served on the Worship Team for 7 years at a local community church in San Diego where she also assisted in youth and children's ministries until she helped to start Experience Church in August 2002. She has taken courses at San Diego State University, Hawaii Pacific University, and through the UCSD Extention Course Program, is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and plans to pursue licensing and consecration with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. She has been married to Pastor Bob for over 19 years and has a 17 year old daughter named Paige. She enjoys a good laugh, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, and has just recently discovered the joy of recreational reading.

Jerry is a full-time scientist for a biomedical research institute in La Jolla. He did his postgraduate studies in India and received his Doctorate degree in Biochemistry in Singapore in 2001. He is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and is pursuing licensing and ordination with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. He enjoys playing the bass guitar and piano, hanging out with people, reading, and occassionally challenging himself physically - but not too far.

He joined Experience Church as a freshman while attending the University of California San Diego where he graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science. He enjoys computer games, reading, and surfing the web.

Rafael is a volunteer at a local community development center in San Diego "City Heights" area tutoring elementary and high school students in math and computers. He is currently enrolled in the Church Leadership Academy's Ministerial Study Program and plans to pursue licensing and ordination with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. He has been married to his wife Margie for 3 years. He enjoys listening to music and watching comedy movies and sports (baseball and football) with his friends. He really enjoys walks with his wife through Balboa Park and Torrey Pines Beach.
Brooke Gritters

Brooke works full-time at the Community Development Corporation in City Heights serving the needs of over 100 low-income families. She also runs her own after-school program with the children of the families. She graduated from UCSD in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies: Political Science. She spent half of her childhood overseas in the Philippines and Bangladesh and loves to travel and absorb different cultures. She speaks Spanish as a result of her study abroad in Costa Rica for a semester. She enjoys creative activities like making her own jewelry and tooling leather as well as the creative planning involved in Sunday School and the after school program. She lives an active and healthy lifestyle which she sucks her family, boyfriend and friends into it with her!
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS OUR GUEST
After a brief welcome, we begin service with a time of praise and worship as we stand (or you may remain seated if you wish) and sing songs of worship (20 minutes).
Following worship, the children will be dismissed to their perspective (age group) classes for a short lesson with games, arts, and crafts. We will have teachers accompany your child to their class (2 minutes).
The pastor will then share an encouraging life relevant message (30 minutes).
A church leader will instruct people through our time of offering. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to give, but you can drop your information card (which will be provided to you) in the offering bucket so that we can send you a "Thank You" gift in the mail for being our guest. (2 minutes).
Announcements will be given to inform you of some upcoming events (5 minutes).
Finally we will end service with a prayer (1 minute).
Doughnuts and refreshments (coffee, tea, etc) are provided. Stick around and get to know us.
If you come with a "heavy heart" and would like for our pastor to pray for you, please feel free to let him know.
Concerning dress code - we ask that you simply come dressed (comfortably).
